I've been doing WW forever and could figure out all the points values for everything I eat in my head. I'm not enjoying having to look everything up and calculate again. And for the few things I didn't know, I miss having the slider! We'll see if I lose any weight this week. If it's a lot, maybe I'll change my tune.

Re: Any WW moms kind of hate the new plan?
I haven't really figured out the new plan yet, but I'm finding it easier to stay within my points, so that also makes me wonder if I'm going to lose. Or maybe the way that I eat when dieting is what they're trying to encourage and that's why it's easier?

Honestly I always thought the points levels were too low anyway. I mean doing the math 21 points was about 1050 calories, not sure about you ladies but that made it really hard to stay on plan. Now I have more points and I think it will be easier. I lost 60+ lbs on the old points system but I have been having a major stall for the last 4 months. Hopefully this will get me back into looking at my eating habits again and doing more.
I'm rejoining tomorrow, and I hope a new plan is what I need to kickstart my motivation again.
I lost 40+ on the old plan (pre baby), but gained it all back during my pregnancy. My attempts to restart WW since she was born have been big failures--I kept trying to fit junk into my points (even though I knew better), and would always end up giving up. I hear on the new plan, it almost forces you to make better choices (to get the most for your points). I hope that's true, and that this will be a change for the better!
I read an interview with one of WW head scientist and this was exactly their goal. They found that it was too easy to fit junk into the old system, they revamped it to make people eat better options.
I actually like it so far. Hasn't changed much about how I eat -- other than to steer me toward a banana instead of a 100 calorie pack, which I think is their goal. The only thing that's annoying is having to look up the new point values.
