We're going to clean our carpets and start cleaning out the baby's room. SIL wants to help us paint it over Christmas break. Saturday is my sister's birthday and we're going to my other sister's house to celebrate. Sunday will be for grocery shopping and football and other random odds and ends.
We're participating in a Santa run in town where everyone receives a Santa Suit instead of a racing bib. Then we're hosting an ornament brunch/party for 20 people post-race.
Olivia and I are on our own Friday night, so probably a movie night, then working on some photo book Christmas presents after she goes to sleep. Saturday we have my niece's 1st bday party, then Sunday I need to buckle down on getting some stuff accomplished on my to-do list.
I have a big program the week of the 13th, plus I have a massive project in Olivia's DIY kitchen that I haven't started. I'm planning a day or two off of work to do it, but I need to get things settled at work for the program before I can do so.
I have a big dinner that I'm catering on Monday, so DH & I are going to Cincinatti to Jungle Jim's to get all my ingredients. Other than that, I don't think that we have any plans. DH was supposed to be gone all weekend at a bachelor party, but that got cancelled, so maybe we'll go out to a movie or something.
This is actually one of our busier weekends. Friday - game night in Crawfordsville with great friends. Saturday - baby shower for best friend & then bowling with same friends from Friday night. Sunday - Circus for another friends birthday (yes, he'll be 27).
We have absolutely NOTHING planned, and I couldn't be more excited. This week is kicking my butt, and I just want to crawl in bed and cuddle with Claire and Jason.
Friday--DH works till 8, I normally do too, but will finish early because of having to be there at 9 instead of 11.
Saturday--DH works 9-2, I'm cashing in a Groupon for a pedi, might go to the Festival of Christmas Joy here on campus.
Sunday--Church, membership class that our church is doing, chill, maybe have a game night with our neighbors.
Monday--The campus' annual Christmas banquet. We dress up, the faculty and staff serve all of the food and do entertainment and it's so much fun. I'm super excited about it!
Saturday morning we are going to Cincinnati for the weekend. I hope to have Skyline, Breakfast Club (in Lebanon), Sports Page (a greasy restaurant downtown) and then go shopping at the outlets in Monroe and Ikea. Emma has an appointment with the plastic surgeon at Cincinnati Children's on Monday morning, this hopefully visiting the probation department to see old friends. I'm pretty excited!!
Re: Anyone thinking about weekend plans yet?
We leave for Florida on saturday
Oh, ya know, not much...just giving birth.
GOOD LUCK!
lmao!
I hope this is your weekend!
