Cyst and starting ivf?

I just came off 4 weeks of estrogen and 1 week of progesterone after having polyps removed.  Day 3 last cycle after the surgery showed an ovarian cyst, but they didn't seem concerned.  Day 3 this cycle, (this past Monday) cyst is still there.  When the nurse called with my bloodwork, she said my cycle is "off" and that I have to come in again on Monday the 27th to see if I ovulated, and if I did, start Lupron already.  I'm guessing they don't care about the cyst, but I've seen on here that some ladies have their cycles cancelled because of cysts.  Anyone have any experience with this?     I've had cysts during every one of my cycles - IUIs and IVFs. RE never cancelled. In fact, I have one now that he said is getting bigger as I stim but he said he still isnt' worried about it. I guess it depends on the RE. Good luck!

    The way its been explained to me is that if the cyst is producing any estrogen it throws things off. But no just by being there its not an issue.

    I have had cycles cancelled and cycles not cancelled because of cysts.  It was dependent on if they were estrogen producing.  My last one was a bit of an issue.  My cycle was cancelled and then we were ok for the next one because it shrank.  They ended up draining during my ER because it was blood filled and hurt.
