Dilation ? for those with 2 or more DCs

With DD I walked around dilated up to 2 cm for 3-4 weeks.  I have just started dilating at 37 weeks with DS and am at 1/2 cm.  Just curious if with your subsequent kids as to whether you got as far dilated as the first or if you went in to labor sooner with the second/third, etc.

I am having a repeat c section with DS and am nervous if I go in to labor prior to my scheduled date.  Shorter second labors run in my family (like total of 45 minutes).  I told my dr. but she isn't concerned.

    I was induced with #1 at 39w1d and was dilated to a 4 when I went in. I believe I was between a 3-4 for about 2 weeks prior. Pretty much the same with #2, but I went into labor at 38w, and was dilated to a 3.

    I have yet to dilate on my own, so I can't really help. As of yesterday I'm showing no signs of labor. I was a week overdue with DS before we evicted him.

    With DD, I was less than 2 cm at my last appointment before I went into labor with her at 40w.

    With DS, I was hanging out at 3 cm just 2 days before I had him at 38w2d.
