Alexa has 6 teachers in her room at some point during the day so I was going to do one group basket with a Starbucks GC for each teacher and bags of Ghirardelli chocolates in it. What else should I add?
Or should I do all gifts individually and do coffee mugs for each with the GC and chocolates in it? I think that would be more personal but I feel the mug would be a waste - who wants one mug that doesn't match anything they have?
Thoughts or ideas? Ideas beyond coffee are good too, I am not commited to this idea Anyone else have many DC teachers to buy for?
Re: s/o daycare gifts
I like the individual idea, but completely agree with the mug thing. How about some other sort of "thing" to put it in that would be more useful? I don't have any ideas right now, but I'll try to brainstorm. Maybe somebody else can think of something.
Otherwise the group basket would be nice.
That's funny. My mom "collects" mugs from the different places they travel to. She has a whole set that match her dishes, but then she has like 10 or so that are from all over and completely different.
I think one big basket would be fine, and I'm sure they will all appreciate it!

I'm still stuck on gifts for the daycare...
LO also has at least 4 different ladies throughout the day. I like the basket idea since that way you don't have to worry about giving them each their gift individually. I like the chocolate idea & Starbucks idea
The upside with the basket would be that you can give it to the group as a whole and you don't have to worry about finding each teacher individually.
I really like the mug idea only because none of my Christmas stuff matches. So maybe that's weird. If you threw in a nice package or two of hot chocolate, the mug would totally work. And get it from the dollar store, if they don't like it, you only spent a dollar.
I think the basket sounds great. I'm one who doesn't really care to have a bunch of random mugs in my cabinet, so I'd love the gift basket to everyone.
I've been wondering the past week or so if I should get SIL a little extra something. Obviously she will get gifts from us on Christmas morning (we have a big sleepover on Christmas eve) -- but I've been thinking maybe I should get her a little something special for her the week before Christmas. Or is that weird/not needed since she's my SIL?
