I feel defeated

Ava has been not sleeping well the past three nights.  I am not even sure how I am functioning. She just doesnt want to sleep in the crib.  She will only sleep if me or DH is holding her or if she is laying in bed with us.  And even then, it is hit or miss.  I think I created a monster because she knows if she screams long enough one of us will get her so we dont wake Lauryn (they share a room).

Last night she started screaming 10 min after I put them down for the night.  And this went on all night.  Finally around 4:30 i took her to the spare room and we slept in bed until 6 because I had to get up for work.  I put her in the PNP and she screamed.  At least she fell back asleep by the time I got out of the shower.

I am calling the pedi today to make sure she isnt sick.  She has been congested and just finished antibiotics for an ear infection.  I just dont know how much more i can take of these sleepless nights.  All of us are just so tired.

    I'm so sorry. We're in the same boat. DD's sleep has been crappy for the past 2 months. She'll wake up in the middle of the night for no reason and just fuss and cry. Sometimes it's for 5 minutes, sometimes it's for 2 hours. I cherish the nights when she sleeps through. This sucks. I hope you get some answers from the pedi today.

    It could be the antibiotics aren't taking care of the ear infection and that's why she's screaming...hope you get some answers from the pedi...which leads to a good night of sleep for you and ava...
