NBR--Creeped out!

THERE IS A MOUSE IN THE WALL OF THE BASEMENT STAIRWELL!!  I can hear him rummaging around in there!!!   ARGH!!

That little bugger better show his face so my kitty can destroy him. But if she does, she'll probably bring me dead mouse parts up into the living room.

  • Oh it is totally that time of the year. I am expecting to see mouse poop in the house any day now.

  • EW! We had a mouse not too long ago. We set traps but never got it. I wonder if it's still hanging out!

  • Nice.  Couple times I found lizard parts in our lower part of the house.

Ohhh, I feel your pain! We have raccoons too. They seem to think the roof over our bedroom is their playground. They play and fight and make all kinds of noise, which gets the cats all worked up, which means *they* play and fight and make all kinds of noise! I'm really hoping the snow drives them away until we can figure out what the he!! to do about them....

  • You have that huuuuuge black hippo cat, right??? I bet he can set things straight!

We used to have a huge cat that looked just like him. His name was Shadrack - don't ask. Anyway, at about this time of year when the field mice would try to come in where it was warm, he would sit on the counter with his paws hanging over and we would just wait. We knew that he was onto one when he would strike that pose. In the middle of the night we would hear a really loud BAM and the he would start to MEW, MEW really loud. He never meowed any other time. My mom would have to get up, accept the mouse and praise him or he wouldn't stop catterwalling.
