How addictive are OPKs?

On a scale of 1 to 10... I am bored waiting to ttc. I keep thinking I could pee on some OPKs this month, see if I O. I'm completely clueless about OPKs so if anyone has any pointers... I'm not overly committed to it. But I'll admit... I have poas envy, even if its useless opks for a cycle tta. I don't know how many, how often... nada. I started reading about them one time then it looked like they always have 2 lines or one is darker... yup, I'm OPK clueless.

Re: How addictive are OPKs?

  • So addictive that I POAS even after I have received a positive just to make sure there aren't any other positives that month (which has happened before). Big Smile
  • I absolutely love to pee on things Embarrassed and OPKs help to keep my mid-cycle POAS urge under control lol

  • Most people use OPKs once a day until it gets closer to their O. Some use FMU and some use 2pm urine.

I use FMU with them, until I get closer to O. Then I pee on 3-4 a day. They can get very addictive!!

  • Honey they are dangerous, your best bet is to pick up some IC's and use them twice a day and compare the two results!
