Overstimulation?

It seems that since LO is noticing her enviroment more and more, she sometimes freaks out when she is overstimulated.  Plus she fights sleep, which can make for a not so fun time.  Anyone else?  Sometimes we have to hold her pretty tight to get her to calm down because she will be flailing her arms and legs.

    The past 4 nights DS has been fighting going to bed.  DH has been overstimulating him when he gets home from work and i know thats whats doing it.

    Yep, I've definitely seen DD get overstimulated and melt down.  It happened over the weekend because we had two holidays to attend and there were too many people for her.  I usually do something to remove stimulation- swaddle her, go into a darker/quieter room, or if we are out I put her in the Ergo carrier and put the head cover up.  Usually she'll fall asleep (even if she fights it at first).  This is the only time I let her "cry it out" (in my arms, never by herself).
