Anyone been to the Catholic Shop in Madeira?

I'd rather buy a crucifix for DS' room from a local place than online.  Is this store a good one?

  • Yep, they are the nicest people ever.  If they don't have what you want/need in stock, they'll order it in for you.

Do you know where the Starbucks is in the plaza across the street from Kroger?  It's a few doors down (like in the middle of the plaza, right on the street).

Sister Mary Meg.  I should say a few prayers from the Advent flyer that MIL brought home from Mass (specifically for us, since we didn't go with them) in order to catch up.

  • I've never been in there but I wanted to mention that if you don't find what you want there is also a Catholic store right by my office on Mt. Carmel-Tobasco road in Mt. Carmel. It's near St. Veronicas. I know my grandma goes in there all the time and always finds something new.

  • It's a really nice shop, much larger than it looks from the outside. Like Tricia said, it's on the main drag in Madeira...on Miami.

Oh I'm a big ol' sinner these days too. So please say a prayer or two for me as well (even though I'm sure my mom says about a million a day for my lost soul.)

  • Whatever TTT. You don't go to mass because the last time you stepped foot in a church the sky darkened, thunder rolled, and lightening bolts started raining down from above.

  • Wait for this...I went to a mass on Saturday. It was for a funeral, but whatevs it totally counts.

As far as I know the church is still standing, but I'm gonna drive by and double check tomorrow.

  • There is also a store in Anderson right behind Chicfila...its called Innervisions.. thats where we got DD her baptism gifts.... they have lots of nice things!

Whatever, Garth.  My church is pro-tubetop.
