My doctor had me come in this afternoon. What the ER doc. didn't tell me was that there was only a trace amount of protein in my urine...which there has been for my entire pregnancy. So, my doctor is not worried about pre-eclamsia at this point. She confirmed that I do have a mild UTI so I'm on antibiotics for that. As for the swelling, she said I just need to take more breaks and put my feet up. The baby still looks great!
While I was there she checked me (since she was planning on doing that at my appointment this Friday anyway). I'm 1.5cm dialated, 50% effaced and soft. Of course we all know that doesn't mean much, but it's nice to know where I'm at I guess. I say this all the time, but I love my doctor. She never makes me feel stupid for coming in and today she said "I was looking at your chart and realized you're over 35 weeks...I'm so excited".
