Anyone else feel the baby Tightening Up???!!!

This is my 4th child and it still amazes me how i can feel the baby tighten up in my stomach! Just wondering if anyone else can feel the same thing especially only being 13 weeks 5days! Felt babies first flutters at 10 weeks! Dr. says I know what I'm doing and I know when it's a kick and when it's not lol! It just amazes me everytime even after already having 3 kids!!!

    You mean like a Braxton Hicks contraction?? I don't possibly know how you can feel a 1.5 ounce baby tightening up in your uterus. Hmm  But, hey...I haven't had 3 kids either.

    Yep definitely feel the BH earlier, but I also wonder if it's because I'm more aware of what they are this time around =)

    LOL no it's not braxton hicks. Guess it's just one of those things that is hard to explain to ppl. Apparently no one knows what the feeling is!!!

    I am not sure by tightening up but this is my 2nd and I do feel flutters every now and then not often though I remember it so very well with my 1st.

    I think I know what you're talking about.  #2 was doing all sorts of flips the other night and then would curl into a ball on one side before she started her next round of flips.  I definitely feel things a lot earlier than my previous pregnancy.

    It's an amazing feelin! Have you tried drinking a glass of water and just sitting there for awhile? Sometimes if you do that or drink pop or eat something sugary and sit for awhile i bet you will feel the flutters!!! :) Hope you feel the baby soon!

    This is my 2nd pregnancy and at 13 weeks I couldn't feel any tightening. I could barely feel flutters. I can feel him flipping now which feels like my ute is tightening up.

    this is my 1st and i've felt the baby moving since 1st tri. I had a pretty flat tummy and my placenta is in the back, so my Dr said she's not surprised (though other moms told me its impossible, and just "gas") Everyone's different!  I'm now halfway into 2nd tri and feel him allll the time, so I know what i felt wasn't gas.

    As far as tightening, so you mean that you can feel the baby curl up?  I have often described it as the baby doing "crunches" like he scrunches up then stretches out... other times it's more like a flutter, or poke. No matter what it is, I love feeling him move!  :)

    Yah i think ppl that havent felt it will always doubt what other ppl are saying lol Oh well we know our bodies and know what is happening! With my first son i didnt really feel him until about 16 weeks but with my 2nd and 3rd sons i felt them a lot earlier!!!! Yes about the baby curling up lol it's just so hard to explain it haha!!!! I can't wait to get the FULL effects of baby moving everywhere!!!!

    I think I understand what you are saying. Before he gets ready to move, I feel him curl up and then stretch out and kick me. It's the one thing I was able to feel for a while before I felt him kick for the first time.
