Rash of tiny red dots from his chest to his hips. Not raised, not itchy, but pretty much covering his belly. I can't feel the rash at all - his skin feels normal.
No fever, no other symptoms at all.
He had a runny nose a few days ago, but no fever or illness recently.
Re: Dr. BOTB - Diagnose DS's rash?
Is he on meds for anything?
New laundry soap/bath soap?
Doesn't the fever come first and the rash comes when the fever breaks?
He had roseola when he was a year old and he had the fever about 3-4 days before the rash. The rash does look pretty similar though. I thought you could only get roseola once though.
When Bug got Roseola, her fever was 3 weeks prior. Nothing right before. Odd.

From your responses it doesn't sound like an emergency that any has encountered before so I feel confident waiting until morning to call the pedi. I was trying to figure out if I should be more alarmed than I was, but I say no.
This is a good resource all about rashes: https://www.askdrsears.com/html/11/T082900.asp
There is really only one type of rash that you would need to ever be worried about, and the site explains how to tell if it is that one or not.
