I need to get a family pic taken ASAP! Where can I go that is decorated already and it is free? Also, would any of my photog gifted bumpie friends like to happen to be in the same place to snap a few pics for us? HEHE!
6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM
7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle!
9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.
hav2run's post about entertrainment junction mentioned that there are some good areas for pics there. that might be good.
It would not work well for a group if it is crowded when you go. Also, not free.
I would love some ideas for great places to go, as well. I have a few ideas for snapping DD's holiday photo at home, but nothing for a family shot. So, to our photography friends here, who is doing mini shoots this season?
I have also done some at the westin downtown and on fountain square. both are decorated and free.
I would be happy to help out. you both know where to find me.
according to cincinnati.com there is a holiday gingerbread village train display at the hilton netherland and hyatt regency that are free. I haven't checked it out yet but it could be an option.
We went to the Krohn Conservatory last year for DS to see the trains and it was beautiful! There were a couple families there doing pictures.
Definitely Krohn. There are several great photo ops there every year. The giant tree, the rotating display of Cincy with the train or in front of the pointsettias. Haven't been this year, but they normally do all three each year. There is also a "living" manager outside you can check out too, although I don't feel it would be good for photos.
