I'm all alone

Tim is in Chicago. I have a random Tuesday off work again - I don't really know why. The nanny took Ada to go play. I am alone in the house for the very first time since Ada was born. 

We have our desktop computer back so I'm working on her 6-12 month scrapbook without her "help". I feel like I should turn up the music or dance naked in my living room. Instead I just feel strange and alone.

    awww i can only imagine how strage it must be but hopefully you can enjoy some peace and quiet, too!

    I would LOVE that! I mean, I'm sure it's strange, but try to relax and just enjoy. You know what I would do? I would probably clean! Don't do what I would do though....

    I find that I would love some time to myself, just not time *alone* anymore.  Naptimes are good, because I can just go check on her whenever I like.

    Man, I have only been alone once in the house also - in 18 months!!!! It was very weird. I had to force myself to do the things I had set aside to do.

    I know how you feel. I always feel weird when DH takes Mikey somewhere and it's just me and the cat here.

    DH will take Matt for a run and the house seems so empty for that hour. I always feel like I should be doing something amazing but I usually end up playing Plants vs Zombies or some silly computer game.

    It's rare for me to be home alone (with the pets) too -- DH almost never takes Keira somewhere by himself.  Definitely enjoy it -- it might be another 18 months before it happens again!
