2 yr old refusing naps

My 2 yr old refuses naps somedays like today.  anyone else's dc do this from time to time? i guess she isn't tired, so need to work on getting out her energy

    Some days DD naps and some days not.. She is 2.5. I was wondering at what age do you really stop fighting for a nap???

    He doesn't typically do it more than once in a week's period, so I just let it go if he's not cranky. The times that he doesn't end up sleeping, he typically lays in his bed talking to himself, singing, and identifying everything he can see from his crib, not whining, so I'll leave him in there for a good hour. If he's not sleeping, at least he's chilling out a little.
