hey, how are you doing? I hate the 2WW and its only 3 dpiui for me.

I know, right? I'm so impatient! I'm 3dpiui too! I'm actually super sick, waiting for the RE to call me back to see what I can take. Major chest and head congestion and a throat that is on fire!
I guess I have my 7dpo appt to look forward to, and to plan just in case for next cycle's protocol, since I'll be ditching clomid due to the lining issue I had.

oh no! I hope you feel better soon! I was so sick yesterday this cycle I am used progesterone supplements and they gave me an awful stomach ache and naseous yesterday. But I am feeling better today which is good. I am not going back to 12/11 for beta. Not sure if I will test before then. I have an appt with my RE on 12/13 which is good timing if this doesnt work I dont know if I want to do another cycle of clomid or move on to injectibles since they have higher success rates.

Re testing, I don't think I will. I'll just wait for AF or beta...
Re injects, do you have coverage? I have zero coverage, so in my head I wonder if I'd even bother with an injects cycle, depending on how much it would cost. If it's around 2500 total for an injects cycle, I might be game, but if more than that, I'd probably just pony up for ivf.
Re the higher chances with an injects cycle, is that bc they tend to produce more follies? How many did you have with your clomid iui cycles?

yea I might test on 12/10 which will be 13 dpiui. But the annoying thing with the progesterone is that you wil not get your AF on it so you will find out based on your beta. if you are not pregnant then you stop taking the progesterone and AF shows in a day or 2.
I have had a good response to clomid, the 1st cycle I was on 50mg. I know for sure I had 1 mature follicle the day before trigger I had a 21 and then I had 2 15's and 1 16, according to the RE those could have caught up.
This cycle I increased to 100mg of clomid. At my last ultrasound the day before trigger I had 18, 17 and 17. So I should have at least 2 mature follicles by the time of ovulation or I hope so at least.
My RE said that injectibles have higher success rates because you have a greater chance of multiple follicles.
I am sorry you are OOP that is hard
. I do have insurance coverage which is good. But I hear you if you are going to pay all the money for the drugs it might be worth it for IVF.
Sorry the clomid thinned your lining, I heard good things about femara from the bump.
Hopefully we both won?t have to worry about next time!
It sounds like you're producing really good follies with just the Clomid! How many does the RE expect to produce with injects?
And yes, I fully intend on asking about Femara and trying that before doing an injects cycle bc of the cost. I had 3 follies with Clomid, so hoping that Femara will be similar without the lining issues.
But OF COURSE, I'm hoping that neither of us will have this issue! Thinking of ya!

No I know you are right I am responding well to Clomid I am just getting anxious. I really hope this cycle works. If not I will ask my RE if he thinks I should do one more round of clomid or move on to injects.
