Cloth Diapering

The stink just won't go away!

Any tips to get rid of this awful smell that's been hanging around my son's Flip and Bumgenius diapers? TIA. :]

  • Smell is usually a sign of detergent buildup/bacteria. Use less detergent in the wash (1/2 to 1/4th of what you'd put in a normal load)...strip them by running a couple cycles using no detergent at all and hot water. If all that fails, try a little bit of bleach in the next load.

  • Thanks. I've tried all of that besides the bleach...might just have to give it a shot. :]
