I don't normally post a lot, but I have to vent and I have no other way to let it out than to tell it to strangers.. so here goes..
I work at a Preschool and I have a coworker that constantly tells me that my kid is going to be crazy as he grows up. Our groups will be playing together and she'll point at one of the kids that has a soccer ball in his mouth or is running around screaming for no reason and she'll tell me that that'll be my son. It just annoys me. Why do people need to wish the worst upon other people? Which, I know there could be worse things than having a kid that runs around screaming and I know mine will be in no way perfect. She also likes to share horrifying labor stories with me. I know that I'll be giving birth in 4 or so months and I'm scared enough about it but it's not necessary to share those stories with me.
Re: Coworker Vent..
Tell her that you'll be happy as long as the kid doesn't end up acting like her. That should get her to shut up.
Mmmm...cake!
So I'm finding it hard to focus on anything because all I'm picturing is a little preschooler running around with a soccer ball in his mouth. LOL!
Yes, I could see how that would be annoying. People don't think before they speak and once you become a parent, you become way more sensitive to things especially when it comes to your kids.
