Girlie had a growth spurt! Great u/s

Annabelle weighed in at an estimated 5 lb 1 oz this morning (35w3d), putting her in the 51st percentile!

This is great news because in early Nov, my OB freaked out because my belly was measuring 3-1/2 wks behind and so she did a quick-and-dirty growth scan (the OB herself, not a tech) and had us all in a panic. She said there wasn't enough fluid, that the baby was in the 15th percentile, and that she hadn't grown *at all* in three weeks. She hooked me up to a NST (which went fine) and then sent me back to my peri for a better look that afternoon.

The peri found that everything was absolutely fine (the numbers weren't nearly as low as the OB had measured), but baby was pretty petite - 28th percentile. Healthy, but small. So we were thrilled this morning to find out she has grown a full pound since that visit three weeks ago!

She's in position (head down and facing sideways) and she's down pretty low - but "not ready to come out yet." I hope to find out at tomorrow's OB appt if they're definitely going to induce me @ 38wks or let me ride it out. Either way, I can't wait to meet this little girl!!
