My last month of pregnancy with DS#1 we had a tornado like every other day, & I was always home alone because DH worked overnights. I was always afraid it would trigger labor, but it never did. However, you're at the "any second now" stage, so anything could trigger your labor!
OH man we had one a little while back! It scared the crap out of my 4 year old for sure! All we saw was a big swirl of wind and debris and then the corner of our apartment building got hit and it looked like it was snowing because of all the insulation being thrown around.
what?! a tornado in almost December?! man the world is for real coming to an end, that is just not right.
It usually happens when we get cold fronts come through. The air gets really unstable because the really cold air is pushing out the really warm air. Like temperatures drop 20 degrees in 30 minutes.

yikes!! I think I'd be curled in a ball crying. in our house now we don't have a basement so every time there's a tornado warning I push the couch against the doors and hide under a big blanket in the corner. my H thinks its hilarious.

Man, what did you do to your uterus to make it so d@mn cozy for her...did you wallpaper? Install a hot tub? Give her, her own cell phone?
She gets cokes and pop tarts every morning. HELLO!!! I wouldn't leave either if I knew on the outside I wouldn't get that for YEARS.
maybe I should lay off those fudge covered Oreos for breakfast if I want Carson to come out...but damnit they are seasonal and I need to get my kicks while I can!!
We just got the rain here. I freaking hope it cools off I had to run the a/c last night.
Re: We has a Tornado!!
Everythings okay for now. But this shiit is crazy!! Mr.MM's first words to me were, "Doesn't this kind of stuff trigger labor?"
Cooper+Evie=Soulmates

I stepped outside for like two minutes and the wind was just crazy and then we had hail. I hauled ass back inside with the dog in tow.

Now for the important question....
Are you in labor?
Nope. lol

I have a great mental image of you in your bathroom hunkered down with your dog and your lap top. And maybe some white chocolate fudge covered oreos.
On a more serious note, I hope everything turns out okay (and that you *don't* go into labor).
