I just braised something for the first time ever! No recipe or anything. And it was awesome!!!

  • Was chicken that we got yesterday + the rest of the open chicken stock and rest of the open turkey stock + rest of the thyme and sage + rest of the carrots + white wine. Oh, and started with a sauteed onion.

    All but the chicken was spare from Thanksgiving and it rocked!!!!

  • Yeah! Must be the season b/c I normally don't cook much but last week I cooked a turkey for the first time and tonight I roasted 3 cornish hens... they were yummy but we ate too much!
    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.
