Weekly Weight Loss Check-in Peeps, come in

I have a couple of AWs that I just cannot hold in until Thursday.  My normal weigh-in day is Thursday, but I weigh-in at work and so I did not weigh in last week.  I was curious about the Thanksgiving damage so I weighed in this morning.  I lost 1.2lbs.  I have FINALLY crossed the 20lb mark after staying the same for 2 weeks.  And I did it over Thanksgiving no less!

Second, I got my first "wow, are you losing weight, you look great" comment today.  It was from a co-worker.  That felt good. Smile

Thanks for letting me share, I know you ladies will understand my joy!

  • That's great! Congratulations! Nothing beats the feeling of reaching a milestone in your weight loss. Not to mention, compliments make all of the struggling and starvation worthwhile. Stick out tongue

  • yay!! That is fantastic!! I am nervous to weigh in tomorrow...I've been off my diet for 2 weeks and I know I've gained some back esp. with Turkey day. And having that first weight loss comment is the best! Congrats! 20lbs is a HUGE accomplishment!

i have no idea how i managed it, but i managed to lose 6 pounds last week. how i have no flippin clue because i didn't count what i ate on turkey day whatsoever. i thought for sure i would have gained. i was scared to get on the scale this morning.

  • Good for you, MrsGeorge! It's so nice when others take notice of the changes, particularly when you've been working so hard. So glad you had a good week and are seeing some positive movement!

  • You go, girl!  That is fantastic!  It does feel great when others notice it.  Hard work does pay off.  Keep on doing what you are doing!  It has to be so motivating to hear that from those who notice the difference.
