Amber teething necklace help

I am finally going to order an amber teething necklace for Liam from Inspired by Finn! My question is do you recommend a screw clasp or a magnetic clasp? I see there is a warning for the magnetic clasp, and I am nervous about it breaking and DS swallowing the magnet.  DH likes the idea of the magnetic one because he's afraid the necklace will get caught on something and DS getting hurt that way.  Also, what size does your LO wear, a longer one or a shorter one? I like the look of a shorter one better, and feel there's less of a chance of it getting caught on something.  Again, DH and I disagree here.  Help us decide!

I would like to order one tonight to use the promotion code! Smile

  • DD has a screw clasp. They are made to break if pressure is put on them anyways. She also doesn't wear it unattended (at night).

Her's lays just under her chin. I prefer the shorter ones, but I measured wrong... They do stretch out some in my expereience, so I would order a size smaller than you think you need.

  • DD and I both have screw clasps.  The magnetic ones scare me.

I got Catie one size up from the smallest, which is actually longer than I would've really liked.  If she really tried I think she could just barely bring it over her chin and nom on it, which would be bad..  I keep a close eye on her though and she never messes with it at all, so we've been ok so far.  You definitely want it to be short enough that LO can't bite it.

  • I currently have the screw clasp, and have a magnetic OTW.  I'm not scared of them breaking after seeing the quality of the IBF necklaces.

  • I have the screw clasp for Atticus, and ordered it in the shortest size. I didn't want it long enough for him to chew on. I don't think he even realizes it's on, which is a good thing!
