I have two revolutions...the AW (single) and non-AW (double). I can't tell much of a difference between how they move, but I'm amazed at how smooth my double moves. I'm assuming my single moves as smoothly, haven't used it much over the last year. You can lock the front wheel for running if you want (I don't).
It's a FABULOUS all purpose stroller. I have a stroller frame for the car seat and a cheapy chicco umbrella, but the Bob is my real stroller, I never got a travel system. I love it. Keep your eyes out for a sale at REI, they do 20% off of a single item and it's pretty much the best price you can get on a Bob...about what you pay for a gently used one.

All this plus you can go through ebates and ship it to the store for free where they will put it together and you will get a pretty nice little check back.
Which babyjogger do you have? If it is the summit I would say buying a BOB would bad a bad idea because they are basically the same stroller. If you have a citymini or non-jogging babyjogger I would go ahead and get the BOB.
I have a single and double Revolution. Love them. Great for jogging, amazing for the zoo, good for anywhere you'll be outside on rough terrain, seat reclines all the way for sleeping babies, has great covers and accessories. LOVE.
