I'm not sure if I can get help on here, but I figured there was a high chance I could. I'm looking for a sewing machine and have heard that they're not made the same as they were years ago. Does anyone have any recommendations for me? I'm not sure what brand/model is best. Thanks!
Re: sewing machine recommendations
I know this is not a help, but I'm so glad you posted this because I need the same help. Lately I've been looking at this one: https://www.amazon.com/Brother-CS6000I-Affordable-60-Stitch-Computerized/dp/B000JQM1DE/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I11NRJN0KNOBYT&colid=3KZD9LLKMKWME
I got this machine a month or two ago. I haven't had a whole lot of chance to use it yet, but it seems decent so far. I have had some problems trying to adjust the tension (or troubleshooting why my top thread is loose.) I also had a little trouble making some upcycled longies, but in all honesty, the sweater I was using was very bulky, so that may have contributed to the bobbin thread jamming, and the needle bending. So those are my complaints so far, but other than that I have been very happy. I got the best price on Amazon.
