  Hi!  I don't know if you are set on Ridgeview clinics or not but I used Western Ob/Gyn(Waconia and Chaska).  I loved the midwives there but my birth was also attended by an OB - Matt Weinrich.  I thought he did a great job having never met me before that day.  He made me feel comfortable and really listened to what I was thinking during a tough delivery.

  I went to Western OB (both the Chaska and Waconia offices depending on the day and time) and had a great experience with all the MDs there. I started with Dr. Freitas, I liked her, she is very matter of fact. She also happened to be pregnant at the same time as me and was going on leave before I was due so I then switched to Dr. Weinrich, who I loved! He has a great personality, outgoing, very professional. He will be who I now stick with for an OB. I did like Dr. Freitas but her personality was a litlte more reserved. Dr. Mohling ended up delivering LO, I had met him the day before my delivery for a regular check in, as Dr. Weinrich was on vacation (it was the week between Christmas and New Year's). I really liked him too. I was very happy with all the MD's, nurses, etc. at Western and at Ridgeview. It was a great place to deliver!

  I started with Dr. Huldeen and then was delivered by Dr. Mohling. I wish I would have had him as my dr. for my entire pregnancy. He is awesome!!

  I don't know who to recommend for Waconia, I'm going to Glencoe, but I really just wanted to jump in quick. I've been to Waconia for other procedures, and I just want to point out that anyone going there please pay attention to what your nurses are doing. Each time I had an IV there, the nurse who did it screwed it up, and I ended up with infections because, since they didn't know what they were doing, they basically ripped apart the veins in my hand and it had to be repaired. I would hope and pray that they would put competent people in the OB wing, but just pay attention if you can. If something doesn't look or feel right, say something!
