Taking it easy...Anyone else?

So at last week's appt my BP was up enough to alert my Dr and I was sent to the Birthing Center and put on monitors. Scared the crap outta me since I've never had high BP and DH was at work......He wants me to rest more so no more long day shopping trips, more resting in between activities, not quite bed rest but I was told to slow down.....So yesterday some things got done including maternity photos and today I'm resting since I'm on maternity leave. Anyone else told to start taking it easy? Can't believe I only have about two weeks left till I meet my princess!!!! =)

    Yup, the exact same thing was told to me on Wednesday when I had the unusually high BP.  Sounds like the exact same thing my doc told me - including the words - NO more work :-p

    My doctor told me the same thing last week. I had to have blood work done for preeclampsia. Had a recheck today and it's still high, but not high enough to move up my c-section (scheduled for the 1st). I just have to take it easy. Still have some housework that needs to get done so I'll just do a little at a time and sit/lay down alot. Good luck to you!
