Black strollers?

Hi--just curious if any of you can tell me if getting a black stroller is a bad idea? I love the look but the lady at the store discouraged us saying they do get hotter. Simple logic would rule that this is correct but what have your experiences been for those of you who have one? I am so into black but guess I can order the stone color alternatively.

Re: Black strollers?

  • I had a dark navy stroller. Let me tell you, that thing was hard to keep clean-looking. It showed every speck of dirt, spit-up, drool, ect. I don't remember it being hot but I remeber I left it ouside a few times in the summer and it faded very quickly. Next time I am getting a lighter color.

I agree w/the store lady...same reason I chose red...also neutral for boy or girl and still dark enough to not get too dirty or look dirty.

  • I have two all black strollers, Maclaren Techno XLR and Bugaboo Frog.

Neither get hot.  I am outside all the time in the summer too.

  • I have a black stroller and it's never been a problem for me!  As for getting dirtier- it shows less dirt than my red stroller.  I'd get whatever you want!
