Cycle?

I'm trying to move on and look forward to trying again.  My doctor suggested to wait one cycle.  I have always had very typical cycles and I'm hoping that my system will get back on track quickly.  In looking at a calendar, can you count the first day of bleeding as day 1 like you do with a period, or does that not really count during a m/c?

    Yes bleeding from a m/c is basically a period, but from what I have read/been told, you should wait one (or however many your doc says) cycle after the m/c beleeding stops and AF comes back. does that make sense?

    I was told to count first AF after ALL bleeding has stopped for at least 1 week as my first cycle. GL
