I am MOH in a wedding this December, and DD #1 is one of two flower girls. The bride is letting the parents pick out whatever dress we want (as long as it is appropriate of course), but I am having problems. Although DD will be almost 2, I am going to need size 18 month because she is a peanut. I can't find anything cute, affordable, and size 18 month - most are 2T and up. Does anybody have any ideas, other than ebay?

Re: DD needs a flower girl dress...help!
My flower girls got their dressed from Alfred Angelo...I'm not sure how much they were but probably about $100... which is a lot. =
But you know walmart has all kinds of adorable dresses for Christmas photos! I'm sure there's something there that could pass as a flowergirl dress?
DD was in two weddings this summer. We had hers made both times. They didn't cost more then $15, which was amazing!! I'll try to PIP. These could both easily be made. My SM made the white one with the pink sash. She made DD's and my sisters in a day. The first one is to her feet and the second was knee length. If you know someone that can sew, I think that'd be your best bet.

How about something like this? You could add any color of sash around it to coordinate with the wedding, if needed, and Gymboree is going to be running their Rise and Shine promotion starting the end of this week. You could probably find one of those coupons here or online from someone not using it. I think it is 25% off. hth.

David's Bridal has 18 months. I bought my DD a 12 month one last year and it was really cute. You can pick the sash color and the dress was white. I think it was about $70ish
