Crib question

When did you/will you transition your lo from a crib to an actual bed. DD is still in a crib and is quiet content. She doesn't even try climbing out so I figured we would wait a bit longer. Just wondering the age of other lo's out there when you transitioned them away from a crib.

Well, DD co-sleeps, so she has been sleeping in a bed for a long time. But we set up the bed in her room at 18 months when we moved and I didn't want to set up the crib again. I think most people do from 18 months or even younger to I think I have even heard some mothers waiting until 3 years.

It depends on if your kid is curious too, some kids get a bed, and then like to wander around when they wake up at night.

DD will be 2 next week and we are nowhere near ready to put her in a toddler or big girl bed. She's happy w/ her crib, has never tried to climb out, etc. She's happy, we're happy! I figure sometime in the next year we will do it.

Everyone I know kind of frantically does it once their kid starts climbing out, lol. No plans to transition here any time soon....Sean loves his crib. I just can't decide if i will convert it to a toddler bed or just go get him a twin. If we have another baby we will need the crib.

We waited till she was 3 1/2 and my son is 2 and he is no where near ready to move out of the crib. I've heard 3 unless they're climbers.
