It was a long night but....

DD didn't nurse until 6am. From 1:30 to a little after 3am I was in her room rubbing her back for a while, leaving her room and letting her fuss for awhile going back in, over and over until she went back to sleep. She just wouldn't go to sleep with me in there, she would look like she was going to but every 10 mins or so she would sit up. The good thing was she wasn't upset while I was rubbing her back and wasn't really looking to nurse.

At 5:45 am she woke up and she let me rub her back and went to sleep really fast but started crying again at 6am. So I nursed her as I wanted just a few more hours of sleep. 7 is her normal wake up time but she slept until almost 8am.

I hope tonight goes better. I really need her to night wean as we all need more sleep and I'm having surgery at the end of dec and I will not be able to lift her for awhile. I don't want the stress of her wanting to nurse and needed DH or my mom to go get her for me.
