Pregnant after IF

Freaking out

Some of you may remember I posted on Thanksgiving about passing dark-brown clots after an SCH two weeks ago.  I decided not to call the Dr. because everything seemed fine after that.  Last night I passed another clot, again dark brown.  I've also had dark brown spotting continuously.  Based on everything I'd read, it sounded like this was normal after an SCH bleed.

I just called the Dr's office just to make sure it was okay, and they want me in for an ultrasound on Wednesday.  The nurse made it sound like this was NOT normal and I should be concerned, esp. with twins.  I'm now freaking out and feeling horrible that I didn't call last week.

  • I think it is good you are going in but I think you are fine. I'm also pregnant with twins and have been having a lot of brown spotting, which is sometimes quite heavy (I'm in the hospital for complications unrelated to the spotting). I have asked every doctor if it is a problem and they all say it isn't, as long as it is brown.

But either way, getting checked is a good idea. Just try not to worry too much.
