Separation anxiety

On occasion, when DH or my mom is holding T and I leave the room T starts crying. It kinda feels good because your child is wanting you but on the other hand I don't want this to last too long. When do they grow out of this? Jokingly DH calls him mamma's boy.

Re: Separation anxiety

  • I have no idea when it ends. Mikey was a serious Mama's boy until he was close to a year, but then he calmed down a bit. Now he's going through a serious Daddy worshipping phase.

  • Beats me - Ada now gets upset when either of us in inaccessible (say, in the shower).Like you say, it's flattering and all, but I would love to go to the bathroom without the sound of screaming on the other side of the door. Confused

Same here, that's why unless I'm showering Adrian comes with me to the bathroom. I only shower when he's asleep or DH is home.
