DH and I received a unexpected surprise last Wednesday... It was extremely faint, so we were in disbelief over the holiday. (I kept telling him it doesn't matter how faint-- a + is a +.) This morning that BFP was as bright as the control line. We're excited. I'm nervous and surprised. I don't feel any different--except for terrible and painful acne break-outs all over my back, neck, and face.
I wanted to post because there have been so many posts on here regarding implantation cramps, and whether or not the cramps ladies were experiencing could be implantation. At 8 DPO I had what I would describe as uterine flutters/twitching (kind of like an eye twitch) for a couple hours. It's something I've never felt there before. I am now fairly certain that was implantation occurring. I just wanted to share since I had been tuned into my body awaiting cramps, but this fluttering was painless.
Best of luck to all you ladies. I don't think I can completely leave you all yet! So I hope you don't mind if I continue to lurk and randomly post. :-)
Re: BFP and implantation flutters vs. cramps
I guess maybe that's possible... but I feel "flutters" at least 3-4x a month. More likely indigestion or, like you said, just a twitch like you would get in your eye. Just a random malfunction.
Congrats on your pregnancy, though!
Ack... sorry--- trying to be helpful, not feed them.
Congratulations! I felt flutters my first cycle trying. Seven cycles later, I'm pretty sure it was unrelated to pregnancy, but it is always VERY hard not to feel every twitch and cramp and to not obsess. That's one reason why posting here is great - it pulls me back to reality.
Hope you have a very happy and healthy pregnancy!
