Free and clear of whatever is the best price -- we alternated between Tide, Costco brand, or the Wegman's brand. We use it anyway now because DH and I have very sensitive skin, and I don't love smelling like anything besides perfume.
I use ecos free & clear. Its good for my DH who has severe allergies to all the chemicals in Tide (even the so called free & clear kind) and when i was researching best detergents to use for baby stuff, the comparison showed this to be one of the best (based on ingredients not necessarily cleaning power) for baby stuff. Ive been using it for a long time and it seems to work pretty good at getting everything out and cleaning our clothes so I am just going to stick to it for LO's clothes. The only thing I am doing differently is a second rinse on the baby's clothes.
So far I've been washing his clothes and sheets in Dreft and Target brand dreft because I love the smell and my mom is a big Dreft pusher (she said it was awesome for stains, so we'll see).
I have 7th gen and country time for diapers and other odds and ends.

Same detergent we use now - All Free & Clear. I think it makes no sense to use a separate detergent since the baby will still be all squished up against our clothes and therefore exposed to whatever we wash our own stuff with.
Also, I firmly believe that dreft is both a crock of crap and a waste of money.

My sister in law gave us a bottle of dreft detergent and the dreft stain remover spray at my shower...she said the spray works wonders. I guess we will use the detergent and see how we like it.
Whatever free & clear detergent that is on sale. Right now we are using ALL...next time we'll see what we have a coupon for. I think it's silly to use a completly different detergent for LO since he'll be exposed to what's on our clothing anyway.

I use Arm and Hammer Free and Clear now, so we will continue to use that (it is usually less expensive than Tide or All). I have Rockin Green for the dipes and wipes.
We've always used 7th Generation unscented hypoallergenic laundry soap. DH and I both have sensitive skin so we will just use this on LO's clothes too. I just make sure to always do the extra rinse on my machine to get all the soap out and not use fabric softener on her clothes.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...

We're using Charlie's soap, since we're CDing and most commercial free & clear detergents have enzymes and stuff in them that over time build up and cause fabrics to repel moisture. Bad juju for CDs, obviously.
For the kid's clothes we'll probably use regular old Tide. Meh.
Dreft and anything baby made my daughter break out. So we will use anything free and clear just like we did with dd. I wash all of our stuff in it since baby will touch our clothes and bedding.
We use EFF homemade detergent. No smells and very cheap. Works great too! Once a month or so we add a little tide original to the line up. No reason to change any of it except we wont use the bar of soap for our cd stash of detergent.

This! I only ever use free & clear detergent anyhow, so I don't really need to change my ways in that regard.
