DH decided when we went grocery shopping today that he wanted to make the box mix of a banana supreme cake that was on sale. We get home and he decides to make it while making dinner. It was cute how I had to walk him through the steps of how to make the cake, which attachment to use on the mixer, and when it came time to remove the cake from the cake pan it crumbled and broke in to atleast 4 pieces. He proceeded to try and ice it with the frosting and it fell a part more, and as I chuckle he goes this is a train wreck but atleast it taste good. He tried and hopefully he will try again.
I was irritated by the round cake catty's lid we got off our registry cracked in multiple places and it is the first time we used it. Grrr!

Re: Dear DH, you tried!
This sounds like every meal I've ever tried to make :P That's why I gave up and DH does all the cooking now. Granted, he doesn't do much baking, but I know any cake of his would be better than anything I could manage!
At least it still tasted good!
