I'm shopping with me mom. Some lady comes to ask us what we are looking for. She then asks when I'm due. I say jan. She looks me over and says 'and you think you're going to make it till then?
Wtf. I'm not even big! I can still get my pants buttoned and I'm measuring 2-3 weeks behind! Grrrr
Re: wow my first rude person
I get people telling me I look too small when I'm measuring normal. One lady even had the nerve to tell me I looked like a toothpick with an olive on it. I think generally people just want to tell you what they think (aka basically judge you) when half of the time they don't know what they're talking about, it's none of their business and/or their opinion wasn't even wanted.
Those are the times when I smile and say, "oh really?" and then just walk away.
I have people tell me that all the time! My EDD isn't until Feb 14th (Scheduled c/s Feb 7th), and everyone tells me i'm huge and not going to make it to Feb.
Last night we took DS to see Santa and he asked Santa to bring his brother for Christmas (he's 4) and Santa said he thinks he'll be here by Dec 17th, so I stopped Santa told him Dec 17th was way to early by almost 2 months, Santa said that was ok and looked at DS again and said oh well I think he'll be here, Santa will see what he can do for you!!
Now I have a 4 year old who this Santa's bringing his brother. People sometimes don't stop and think before they say things!!
I get this too!!!
Good lord I prob would have been shocked at this too. It's one thing to say you are too big or too small but for her to actually ask how much your ALLOWED to gain.. wtf.

I had a friend's mom tell me the other day (after we mentioned that it's twins) - "Oh my GAWD - You go tell your doctor you want a do-over!" I'm assuming she thought this was funny and wasn't actually suggesting I abort my babies.
Then yesterday, my dad helped bring home baby furniture we ordered through Walmart and had shipped to the store. I had to walk to the far back of the store to give them my paperwork, and then they would bring everything back out through the front. So my dad dropped me off at the front doors and just had to circle the parking lot for awhile. As I was getting out of the truck, this guy walks over and says "You can't even bother to go park your car, you lazy fat a$$?!" I wanted to pummel him (and I think my dad would have helped) but he ran off too fast.
There are no words for this.

Things to avoid during pregnancy: Eye contact with cats. Cats will suck the burgeoning life right out of you, using their infamous feline mind-powers. Avert your eyes, and move along.
FACT: 1 in 10 people are said to be a carrier of Listeria. Therefore you should avoid all shopping malls, grocery stores and busy street corners for the duration of your pregnancy. Or microwave anyone you contact until steaming, just to be safe.
What the eff??!?! I wish you had pummeled him, what a freakin moron! He shouldn't be talking like that to anyone!!

I get that all the time. It always makes me mad cause I already feel fat and horrible and now you, some random person is going to try and make me feel worst.
It is really sad that people have to act that way.
