Seriously though. I have been thinking a lot lately about how this election is causing me fear and panic,to the point of keeping me up at night. It's probably because I'm pregnant, but whatever it is I don't think it's healthy. I have been praying lately for a way to avoid feeling this way. DH and I have decided to go on a media-strike until the end of the election. This means no TV, newspaper, talk radio, Internet or political discussion of any kind. I need this time to clear my head and focus on what is really important.

What exactly was the point of this post? I for one, am not happy that the drama of last week has caused some people to leave. I think it says quite a bit about you that you choose to use the occasion to gloat.

I don't know if this is supposed to be some kind of joke or a jab but if anyone wants to talk about stress from the election they can kiss my fat pregnant butt.
I work in voter registration & elections (among other things).....

Um...many of us have been with MissMod since the 1st Tri...we have known the true Mod and loved her for it much longer than you can imagine.

I am actually great friends with Adamswife, we agree on may things esp parenting, as do MissMod and I agree on many things like who here is an a$$hat. I am kind of the moderate between the two. My Conservative side appreciates Adams, and my lack of a verbal filter LOVES MissMods free say anything spirit.
So don't be so quick to assume.
Personally, even though I would call my religious and political beliefs diametrically opposed to Adamswife's (or what I believe to be her beliefs based solely on a message board anyway), I think that some of the things that were said to her today were disgusting.
And it's no excuse to say that you find what she has to say disgusting.
Isn't it just lovely when we liberals become the very thing we claim to despise in, sadly, many conservatives: those who spread fear, personal attacks and hate.
There is a real person behind the logon name "Adamwife" you know. She's someone's wife and mother. She's an actual human being for goodness' sake.
In honor of her, try to remember: "Let the person among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her" (John 8:7).
I post no drama. And I see no drama. I see lots of truth and lots of BS.
2nd Tri was the most fun board I had ever been on until about a month ago. It has been the buzz kill of the nest since.

You see no drama? Wow, those are some mighty big blinders you've got there. You support calling another nestie out for deciding to step away - that some of the discussion going on is too stressful for her, and you don't find that drama? How about "Ok, do what's right for you, see ya when you get back"? You know, behaving like a reasonable human being, not a b!tch.
The reason to be so mean and angry? Perpetuating the bad behavior 2nd Tri is becoming famous for.
And the reaction is exactly what Mod wants. Adams can hold her own very well going head to head with Mod.
PC please bring back the fun place 2nd Tri once was. I leave it in your hands...

I understand that. This is just banter back and forth, like she does with us. Or is she the only one that is allowed to make smartass remarks. Don't worry, I realize she is a main fixture of the boards, I mean the woman is a nesticle god. But I also know she says stuff to get people going. So some of us play along and say stuff back.
