Well, I know my chart is going to be a mess no matter what. I work night shift, 12 hr shifts, 3-4 days a week. I usually get up around 4:45pm and go to sleep as late as 11:30am on work days. On non-work days I "stay up late," as in I go to bed more around 1pm, and sleep "late," as in as late as 9pm or so. I know I should set my alarm to go off at the same time every day and make sure I get at least 3 uninterrupted hours of sleep, but,DH gets up before me and wakes me up, one complication, so I should temp when he gets up. But I wake up sometimes for, really, no reason at all. Like yesterday, I woke up at 2pm, freaked because I thought I overslept (I went to bed early that day), but I made myself temp right then. Because DH would be waking in about 2 hours or less, I wouldn't have 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep...but it would mean my temping timeline is off. (thankfully, I usually fall immediately back to sleep)So, which do you think is more important? Temping when you've had 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep...or temping at the same time every day despite the uninterrupted part? (btw, I don't have my chart linked just yet as I'll OFFICIALLY be charting starting next week when CD1 shows. This attempt is just too whacked out and I forgot too many days.)

Re: Help me on choosing WHEN to temp, please
Thanks. Basically FF says take it when I've had the most sleep, which I think agrees with you. I was just hoping to hear some expert advice from you ladies, too.
I think the one on FF also might take into account that many people on night shifts switch back to a day-ish schedule...which I don't do. I just don't always sleep through the "night."
