What was your favorite thing about Thanksgiving this year?

Mine would be finding out that my BIL is practically engaged!!!! He's 6 years older than DH and had a nasty break-up right before our wedding and was a wreck. I had never seen him cry. So to meet this new girl via skype and find out she's AMAZING was fantastic!

    i went to the jets game with my hubby... it was a lot of fun because we were able to do something we love (watch football) together. we are still laughing and talking about the game :)

    Two things:

    1.  DH's family traveled to spend the holiday with us, and we had a wonderful visit.

    2. DS finally peed in his potty.

    Spending the holiday with my sisters kids.  My niece is 3 1/2 and is a little ham, and my nephew will be 1 on 1/1 and is walking like a maniac!  It was so much fun spending time with them!
    Awww that sounds like so much fun! Smile I haven't spent Thanksgiving with my niece & nephews in years!

    favorite thing about TG this year (1) having our own house to host it in (2) having his side and my side of the family together which doesn't happen often since his family lives in NY, we live in MD.

    I'll be the Debbie Downer on the board and say my favorite thing about Thanksgiving will be when everyone leaves! My ILs aren't leaving until Tuesday and I've. had. it. I. am. so. done. 

    But, I did enjoy cooking all day with my husband. Very thankful for him and for all the wine I've been drinking to get through this visit.
