One of my good friends was over last night...she's 20 weeks pregnant and just found out that she is having a girl! Anyway, they were TTC for 14 months and she was sharing with me how she got through it all and then she was like, "stand up - I am going to rub my belly on yours for good luck!"
Apparently a pregnant friend of hers did it to her and her friend had someone do it to her before that and they all got pregnant soon after. Just wondering if anyone else had heard of this? I thought it was cute and I will certainly take all of the help/luck I can get, but I thought it was pretty funny (and a little odd) and wanted to share.
If I get KTFU this cycle, I will definitely put this on my list of "things I did differently this cycle!" LOL

I guess I came across wrong on this one. I don't think that it would actually work -- and I had never heard of it before, which is why I asked if anyone else had.
I am joking about putting it in the "things I would do differently". I just thought it was funny and certainly didn't mean for it to come across like I was actually asking if you guys thought it would work.

LOL now there's about 10 women running around trying to rub their bellies on poor, unsuspecting pregnant women
Hey we're cycle buddies!
I don't think they really believe it is going to work.
Nah, we're cool. We hugged it out in chat. I woke up on the wronger side of the bed than usual

LMAO. Glad to hear you ladies worked it out
I probably would have felt the same way had she got KU right away - but it did take her 14 months of TTC, so I think she was just trying to make me laugh and feel better.

See, for me I would think that seeing as she herself had tried so long, she'd know better, but that's just me.. I tend to be a little sensitive about these things anyway though.
Yes this is VERY true!
