  • Could be.  Only time (and more temps) will tell

Edit: For some reason I thought you were saying 7DPO.  5DPO is a bit early.

  • def could be!  In all my chart stalking, I've come across charts with dips that early.  Again only time will tell.  But just bc ff says "7-10 days" doesn't mean 5dpo can't happen.  Keep us posted.
  • Thanks for the hope.. The more I google things, I'm coming across that 5dpo is not to early.. Thanks for all the info Ladie's!
  • who knows. my chart "looked" like an implantation dip this past cycle, but clearly wasn't.

  • I had them last cycle and one yesterday.

  • I had lots of random temp dips from 3-5dpo.  I did a lot of research on it because I was worried that something was wrong and found that it's normal for a lot of women to have this, and it is actually caused by a secondary estrogen surge that occurs to keep the corpus luteum functioning.  It's too early to be implantation.  GL this cycle!

Whoa, whoa, whoa, just because you see a dip on a chart does not make it an implantation dip. Those could have been regular fluctuations in temperature.

OP, I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but there's no way to no if an implantation dip occured until you get a BFP, so take it easy, keep your hopes up, and good luck to you.
