BBT ?, when it favors one temp...

So my target BBT is favoring temps.  It was 97.5 before O, and now its favoring 97.9.  I test it at other times during the day and its higher (running in the 98's)  So I know its working....but what would you think of it favoring certain temps in the morning?  Its always in the same spot and I test around 8:30 each morning.

I can't be THAT regular on temps in the AM, could I?  

ETA:  My night stand is a glass top, so I'm wondering if that might have an effect on it.  Like it starts off on the cold side?  And it still runs for about 60-90 seconds, so it doesn't instantly go to that temp.

    You could try taking your temp twice in a row - once with your target BBT and again with a new BBT to see if there's a difference.  Don't think the glass top nightstand makes a difference, but you could always try warming it up in your hands for a minute beforehand too.

    Hmm, that makes sense.  I didn't want to get a new one mid cycle but I guess if I try with both that wouldn't hurt.

    Now I have re-tested with my BBT to see if it needed to warm up, and it will read the same number.  Then I will get up, get out of bed and get moving and retest again...and it will then be in the 98's.  So I know it is working right.

    I am thinking if this isn't my cycle I want to get on of the ones that doesn't read in just the .1's but reads in the .11's and up.

    My BBT (not target) seems to do the same thing. I've seen someone else post on here about it before as well, so I've been thinking it's normal. It makes sense that my body might have a 'usual' temp when I'm not in the parts of my cycle where my temp is going up or coming down. Not sure though.

    My BBT did the same thing. I got it from Amazon. It was driving me crazy having so many temps at 97.3, so I got another one. If it doesn't read the same temp its only .1 off so I guess that's just normal. But as long as you see a clear temp shift I don't think it really matters.
