Clomid Side Effects Question

Hey ladies! My doctor put me on 100mg of clomid from days 3-7. I'm taking them at night, so I just finished my 2nd dose.

Everyone that I talked to, and I mean everyone, said they had some side effects. Mostly all of them had hot flashes, all had breast pain, some had headaches. Some even had pelvic pain and bloating. Bottom line, everyone I talked to had some sort of side effect. I was prepared for that.

So my question to you, is when did the side effects start? After how many doses? And is there anyone who did not get any side effects at all??

I know I should probably be grateful that I don't have side effects right now, but it also makes me worry that it's not working the way it should. Please help my overactive TTC brain.

    I've read that s/e can last up to 45 day after you take the last pill.  When I took 200, I had horrible hot flashes and moodiness.  I didn't ovulate and so I had a long, awful cycle.  The hot flashes didn't end until right around the 45-day mark.  It was bad enough we've been on a treatment break for almost two months.

    I was only on 50mg, but the only side effect that I got was hot flashes.  If I remember correctly, they didn't come around until about the 4th or 5th day.  They were'nt horrible, but not fun either.

    I am so sorry you had to go through that.

    But wow, they can last up that long? Thank you.

My work is freezing this time of year so it worked out fairly well. I think those were toward the end with 100 mg). I never got any of the headaches or anything else.

     

    I was aware of the thinning of the lining. I'm taking POM supplements and I hope that it helps with that.

    But thank you. So just because I don't have any s/e yet, doesn't mean I wont get them later.

    Besides the side pains I had hot flashes. They happened from the start of the pill but I had the most two day after my last pill.

    Same here.  I had no side effects besides being nice.   

    Fuuck TTC - I'm moving on.

    Yikes, that is awful, I'm so sorry.  What did your doctor say?  When you had your monitoring u/s, did everything look okay?

    I have had 2 rounds at 50 mg, on both I had hot flashes starting around the 3rd or 4th day.

    This is my first round at 100 mg and so far, no s/e. I was expecting them to be worse.
