How much cramping do you have daily?

I don't remember cramping this much with #1. I pretty much have some sort of cramping every day, but no bleeding or spotting. I'm 5 weeks.

Thursday I ran a 5k. I've done one 5k pre-pregnancy and I workout regularly (3-4x/week). I had some pretty strong cramping on and off the rest of that day, but no bleeding thankfully. I immediately felt remorseful, like I overdid it doing the 5k. But I always read that you should be able to do what you did before pregnancy in 1st tri (as far as most exercise goes). 

I guess all this rambling is to ask this: Do you feel cramping every day? Do you feel more cramping than usual after you workout?

    I'm further along but at 5w I did feel frequent cramping. And Yes, more cramping after workout. Try to take it a bit easier. 1 5k pre-pregnancy is not that much.

  • I have had a lot, particularly in 5-6 weeks. It got worse after yoga and sex. No bleeding or spotting, thankfully. I've also had early round ligament pain like crazy. I just try to tell myself that it is just healthy growing!

  • Weeks 5 and 6 I had cramping pretty often.  Actaully in the last 3 days I have started cramping again.  I think my issue is that I am not drinking enough water, I do much better at work than at home.  Hope you feel better soon.

  • I have cramps almost all day & night. I never cramped with either of my children. A few times its woken or kept me awake at night. My Dr doesnt seem too worried because Im having no spotting or bleeding. I go for my nurse visit on Wednesday & Im going to make sure to ask to talk to my Dr then too just to make sure, they said they would most likely send me for an ultrasound if Im still cramping by then. They did tell me to drink as much water as possible because it makes it better but then Im up all night anyway peeing so its a no win situation.

  • i cramp daily and i LOVE it.  Each pinch and pain i rhink "owww.   Mother effer. " but then i think "Hi, LO. Glad to see you are doing well down there."

  • Week 4 I felt like I had a ton of cramping. Now I mainly get it at night. Every now and then I will get a good one, but I figure if no bleeding it is just stuff growing and getting ready in there = )

  • I'm five weeks and I have been cramping also. The two times it has been the worst, I was woring 12 hour shifts. I try to remind myself to take it easy, I go and sit down for awhile with my feet up. We all need to try to take it easy.
  • I have mild cramping for 4 or 5 days at 5w, but since then it's just been occasional. The worst was after sex, and even that wasn't super bad, just annoying.
  • Week 5 and 6 I had cramping most of the day, every day. During week 5 I assumed it was my period coming because I hadn't tested yet. I talked to my dr during week 6 because it scared the crap out of me and she said it was just things stretching and moving. The past 2 days I've had a few twinges here and there but no constant cramping (which is now worrying me because I got used to the cramping, bah!)
  • I tend to get cramping at the same time everyday.  I usually just think it is gas though.  I get cramps mid afternoon and then again at night(around 10ish).  I am typically in bed by like 9 nowadays so I get a little nervous when the cramps wake me up, but it usually ends once I pass gas. Embarrassed

  • My cramping also is worse the day after running.  I've only run 2-3 miles a few times, but each time, I had cramping during the night or the next day.  Pre-pregnancy, I had just finished my first half marathon and was running 3 days a week, anwhere from 2-10 miles.  I feel like my body should be able to handle running, but I didn't run for the 3-4 weeks prior to my BFP.  I struggle with knowing what is too much .

  • I am too! It scares me sometimes. Especially at 2am this morning because I could've sworn the toilet paper had a faint pink after I wiped (hasn't happened since). I was TERRIFIED! Hopefully all is well though since this is the week I should be having my period and all. I just keeping thinking it's everything down there growing and getting ready for my sweet baby :)

  • None anymore, however I notice when I move too fast/get up too fast etc I get a sharp pain that lasts a few seconds.
