RE didn't put me on any progesterone or estrogen for 2ww...

Is that normal? I'm wearing 2 vivelle.dot estrogen patches right now. The nurse said that I can take them off tomorrow. I didn't get a chance to talk to the RE.

Is that pretty normal? I mean, the patches have gotten my lining to where it is. Does lining thin during the 2ww? If I take the patches off during the 2ww, this won't have a negative effect, will it?

I also asked about progesterone supps, nurse said at my 7dpo appt if my progesterone is low, RE will perscribe some to me then, but not yet.

What was your protocol during the 2ww?

If it matters, I haven't been dx'd with anything yet. Other than thin lining bc of Clomid this cycle.

I don't know that your lining will thin, did you get your progesterone tested at 7dpo? I would trust your re at least for one cycle.

I didn't get my progesterone checked, no. But I've seen on so many posts that some REs perscribe prog at the time of IUI to take the next day and on out during the 2ww to help thicken lining and prevent m/c.

I seriously need to stop playing doctor. But I can't help it.

Progesterone was only prescribed for my ivf cycle. well, i did get a script for it for one of my iui/inject, but only because i said something and i think they just gave it to me as a placebo.

I took the Estrace all through the 2ww and up until 10 weeks pregnant. I never had my progesterone checks during the 2ww nor did I take progesterone sups.

my first IUI they tested p4 at 7dpo (well anywhere from 5-7dpo). That's when I found out I had low progesterone.

Unless you know from a previous cycle (LP) that you have a progesterone problem, I think it's pretty standard to check midway through the LP. It's the corpus leutum thing after the follie is release that makes the progesterone - so until you actually O, there isn't a way to know if it's gonna be low (unless like I said, you had 7dpo p4 check on a previous cycle)

Once I was determined to have low p4 on that first IUI cycle, I was automatically on progesterone supps starting at 1dpiui on every cycle after that.

I think since you're actually ovulating, you'll produce your own progesterone.

Eff you lmao! YES I did! I waited until there was just 2 other people in there. I mean, they put the freaking table right in the middle of the waiting room, like a stage.
