that in 15 years, I'd be posting my opinion on an internet message board about another woman's CM (after having to go through the explanation of what CM stands for, no doubt), I don't even know how I would have reacted.
Does anyone else ever have WTF life moments like that? And why is it the older I get, the more often they seem to happen?

I'd bring a picture of my current self and say "You are NOT fat....this is you in ten years....THIS is fat...Get used to exercising now so you don't turn out like this" =P
I always thought I was super fat when I was a teen. (I was a size 6...but when your BFF's are zero, you feel fat!) Now I'd kill to have that body back!

Yes-- the older I get, the more WTF moments I have, too. The other day I was at the grocery store and there were some teens in front of me with dyed hair, baggy skater pants, and emo eyeliner. I said to myself "What the hell is wrong with kids these days? Can't that AT LEAST dress appropriately?"
I then instantly remembered that I used to be that kid...baggy skater pants and wild hair. lol
I understand. I was telling my DH the other day that I never thought I'd actually ever be "trying" to get pregnant. I just always thought it would just happen. IDK, I guess there could be worse things in life to be going through.
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would MAIM AND KILL to have my HS and college body back... if only I had appreciated it then!!

I just had one of these moments yesterday....I was at a patients house and her teenage nieces were over. They were trying to relay a story and talking SO fast. I was 100% lost...all I remembered was the beginning and hearing a bunch of "And like then" 's. I looked at my patient (who is only 35) and said "I hope I didn't talk this fast when I was a teenager.....I would have confused quite a few adults!". And then I looked at the girls with a confused look....and they slowed down for my old self =P
LOL! I know exactly what you mean! I was a size 4-6 in HS. If I only knew then what I know now.I would love to be that size again!!
Exactly! But yet I was usually hiding in my room thinking I was a big tub o' lard and wondering why the boys only gave attention to my GF's. But now I realize that boys like Skinny...MEN like curves!
I still own the pants as a matter of fact! I have a pair of Jncos and an off brand called "SkaterGrl's" that are in my hope chest. They are tattered and worn out from skating, but still awesome. : )

I wasn't much of a looker back then. Somewhat cute, but very to myself and VERY much a tomboy. I hung out with guys that skated, but only liked them because they skated. I didn't want to date them. I went to prom with all my guy friends, so it was a tad weird. lol

I used to go to Warp Tour and see the skaters perform while I rocked out to Sublime or Green Day.
My Dh has a couple pairs of JNCO's in his closet. He says he's waiting for them to be cool again because he will wear the Sh!t out of them again. lol.
I remember wearing the baggy pants, the tight tanks and then those stretchy/plastic necklaces that had a cris-cross pattern to it? I have no idea what they were called, but you wern't cool if you didn't have one!

I think my H.S. self would be very confused to hear that I will someday own four cats. I would also be shocked to learn that I would be a 7th grade teacher.
I would tell myself that I will someday meet and marry an amazing man so to stop freaking out about it and just enjoy life. I would also tell myself to stop curling my bangs because it looks atrocious, and please hem my Catholic school skirt so it's not down to my knees because I look like a prude.
I believe this is in order.
This, mine were awful!
I would tell the high school AND college me to quit going to the tanning be and using fake tan lotion. Blonde blue-eyed chicks are not supposed to be tan!
