I need some opinions. I have PCOS, got pregnant with Metformin and induced period with Prometrium. That was with DD. We tried clomid, injectibles, IUI, and then took a break. We are now trying again and my OB put me on Metformin again because it worked last time. I have been using OPK's and my last two cycles have been 54 days with me O'ving around day 36 (or a +OPK). I am not temping. My OB said to let metformin get my o'ving and that I may need clomid. My question is: Should I see my Ob about starting clomid since my cycles are soooo long? Would clomid help with that? TIA!
Re: If you have PCOS...
This. It can take 3 to 6 months for the Metformin to regulate your PCOS, and if it worked for you before I would give it a chance! Good luck.
I 3rd this! I personally would give metformin that longest chance you can! GL
